i am surely support the above statement.whether their products are good or bad, they tried to show their products more good than what they produced.it is really cheating the people.

today the customer is very rational even if u say lie in diplomatic way the customer will understand. if the ad really contain lie in it then it's product will never get succes in the long term. some the creativity shown in the ad we say it is an diplomatic lie for ex. in the ad of happydent they show that ur teeth will glow light if u use this tht is not a diplomatic lie viewer know tht thr teeth can't be like tht but ya tht will have some effect. so it is the creativity of the ad.

hai friends i agree with the above comment because so many companies are releasing their products in the market and they are advertising their products but they are not looking at the public safety.so i think that advertising is one of the way of telling lie to the customers

i will say that advertising is one of the aid used by every company to launch the product in market and to lure their customers towards it.But nowadays people are very smart and intelligent they know their profit and loss very well,egs-if the customer wants to purchase any model of mobile then he will do the survey and after analysing thoroughly only he will purchase the appropriate and requisite model.i will also like to appreciate the ad created for mountain dew drink which had spread a very inspirational message that"dar se mat daro, usse aage badho kyunki, dar ke aage jeet".so it very well depends upon the customer to whether believe the ad of product or take it merely as a fake one.

According to my perception, advertising is not a way of telling a lie..it is just the efforts and creativity of companies to sell their products in the market as competition is growing by leaps and bounds...and they have to do this because they have to survive in the market of today's era..yet I say that it thoroghly depends on a customer whether to believe the ad's of the products or not As it is said that Customer is the king of the market..

well, it's the very fact that ad's today are a diplomatic way of telling a lie but, one must agree with the fact that each and every product needs a ad to survive the present tough n competitive market the thing is that even for medicene which cures the disease also needs marketing in current situation so we should not blame the companies for giving ad's u should analyse the product buy it as the saying goes
all that glitters are not gold!!!

in my opnion , advertisement is not at all a diplomatic way of telling lie . itz a way to show their products to customers. yes they use celebrities to attract customers . but customer is not a fool to attractt towards product by celebrities only. they have thir own ideas about qulaity & price of products .

I too agree with the above statement becoz today we r living in an "OVER COMMUNICATED" Society in which we are bombarded with lot of information everywhere. Advertisement is not at all a diplomatic way of telling lie instead it uses the creativity to capture the minds of the people in this over communicated society. Few ads touches the emotional aspect while few captures the humourous aspect.

Every company whether big or small relies on advertising to make a mark about its product in the market. All the facts given in the ads may not be true but today's viewer is quite smart who can easily judge the facts which are false. The lies about a product in the teaser can only attract the customer only once and for the customer to come the second time the quality needs to be at par with the standards.
