though govt has set parametres for bars and they run with a govt license only but the fact that the atmosphere of a bar won't change with this intevene of govt. should not be overlooked. what i mean is the surroundings of a bar are surely to get a good taste of all kinds of things and crowd entertained inside ,and if its in a public area it definetly gives a wrong impression in minds of small children or just adults or some teenagers might start taking interest in it out of curiosity that common lets go and see xacltly 'what is a bar?'. secondly its a bit tough and insecure for women living around the bar especially when at night its quite risky for them to roam around that area ,as already we know how safe is india for women today. its ok to believe that bars maintain decency today but we shouldnt forget that people belonging to 'not so socially civilised' category do visit there .thus in my opinion keeping bars in public places is not socially acceptable.
