I would not be favouring to give reservation by the government. the government is providing the basic platform to get knowledge in the form of schools and colleges. in this the government provides reservation. but once you are through with your education u have to be in a position to compete with any one whether it is mail or female it soent matter. By giving reservation to women the government is making them weak. this a the era of women empowerment and women should proved that they are the best with any kind of sympthy from anyone including governemnt. But i must say that governemtn should provide security to the women at their work station.

there is no need to give the reservation to women. why because the women also getting their position in the social life nearly equal to the men. And in some cases they are more than the men.
And iam not supporting the giving reservation on the basis of men or women, cast.If we are doing like that ,the talented people who don't have any reservation are not getting position in their job life. And they are also not getting seats in good institutions because of these reservations based on the women, cast

Absolutely not,There shouldn't be any reservations in any form and based on any criteria. More over, the problem has to be resolved in a correct way for the empowerment of the concerned sections.

For this topic i would like to give a situation and its upto u to decide and draw conclutions from it ...
>> 1. there is a boy from middle class family (just enough to support their daily basic needs) , he works very hard to access knowledge even though the resources for him are limited and approaches an institute(/ company) for higher studies(/ a job) >>2. A girl from a high class family who posses knowledge equally likely to the above mentioned boy. But while doing so the resources for knowledge were readily made available for her by her parents. Now she approaches the same institute or company ...Now who should be given the Job /seat and on what basis..? Is there any need of reservation here ...? Generalise this and think once again !!! .... comments are welcome---> crackurocks@gmail.com |

Hey Wicksta, You can't generalize a particular situation, there might be same situation but in reverse form (girl from middle class family and boy from high class) so not happy to say ,nothing can be
generalize with your example. Most of the time middle class family did not allow girls to be at work .In this case, there might be help with fee concession on the basis of their family income(specially for girl). When families in India do not really like to spend money on girls in comparison to boys.So some kind of awareness program with special courses which motivates girls in rural area to come forward and be the part of system.I am not in favor of Women reservation, But one thing for sure that we must encourage things which made women to step forward every field, like Mr. KHAN has suggested ,security at work place.

Today's women is very much equal to men almost in every field.According to me women should not be given reservation in service or job sector becoz due to this reservation system the people with good potential & worth are nt able to get what they are capable of.Instead of giving reservations govt should take effective steps for security & safety betterment of women.According to me our country can make progress when every reservation system and discrimination on the basis of caste, sex and religion wil be abolished.

mona you said it right.by giving reservation, the govt is making women to think dat they are weak.proper security should be provided to the women at their work stations,so dat there i no fear to women even if they have to work late nights
