there are more then one billion in our country people but we got only one gold medal ....we have nt think about it........why so? but yes there are to more who got bronze.....and wat abt rest???? i am sure it will remain constant or same...............its very difficult to change current situation. but the point is why only one gold?since we have much talent and i think there is no such talent exist in the rest of world if we compare with us(indians). but there is something where we lacks and that we still dont know if we ever able to rectify that very deficiency then definately we are able to get as many gold medals as we want.i am not blaming any one not even a particular one. Its about only us

Some other reasons for not winning medals at olympics are
-> Lack of infrastructure and facility
-> Lack of support from government
-> People's outlook
-> Lack of professional training
-> Govt does not want to invest time and money in it.
-> Lack of motivation

Hi i m venkateh here...according to my point of view....India is a corrupt country...what money is given to sports.. they use this money for personel use..becz of this corruption... player did not get ..what they want in sports..like no proper training...no proper diet...
