As a management student we should think of a economy wher there will be enoufh space for goverment & private players i.e. a mixed economy.Sub prime crisis happend in America because goverment control was not there . In the post crisis period they are trying to implement a mixed economy wher govt. control will be much more higer than before.

As a management student we should think about economy and internal and external policies where central bank play a major role in the economy, control the over all economy. they not only look for supply and demand of money but they have to view the activities of the govt. banks and private sector bank. in America there central bank fail to fore see the other bank activities..The collapse of Lehman Brothers one year ago this week has us asking ourselves what principles of financial intelligence we can learn from Lehman's failure. there are many reason to fall...1..financial leverage:-Lehman Brothers was over-leveraged. 2.. Debt Equity Ratio:- it telsl you how much debt a company has for every dollar of equity. Lehman Brother has $30 to $60 per dollar equity.

Well firstly if we are speaking in the Indian Context one must mention the fact that the subprime market in India is yet to evolve to any significnt proportions. At the very crux of the subprime crisis where 3 issues for the United States. An economy whch was completely based on paper, over eager banks doling out loans without proper credit appraisal of borrowers and ofcourse complete standstill in manufacturing as far as the United States was concerned. So the most significant step that economic planners must undertake is to ensure that there is consistent infrastructural growth in the economy.

Yes I agree with the topic but as a management student I would like to say that on arguing about the world first of all we will have to see the present financial condition prevailing in India. Is the financial management structure of the country is balanced? If this q. is having a appropriate answer then we would think to have a mixed economy. The Indian Govt. should keep a strict watch on the corrupt and dishonest politicians who have a lot black money. Should keep a watch on rich people to pay tax every year. Also on the inflation and deflation rate of GDP. Should have a silent feature on every notice which is sent to the Loksabha. E.g. Sharad Pawar in case of sugar expensive and damage of tonnes of wheat. In case Lalu Parsad Yadav who eated the whole Bihar. If these things is managed properly the their is nothing to argue on subprime crisis.

sub prime crisis is basically the root cause for recession around the globe... so as a mgt student one should first of all find out and analyse the various ways through which the problem can be overcome.. for example during recession there was no flow of money in the economy, so there was a need to reduce the CRR(cash reserve ratio) and SLR(statutory liquidity ratio) wherein money with banks would be less and by means of loans and other ways money with public would increase..

sub prime crisis currently exist in whole world , but india is affected too much . so as amanagement student try to control on economy by involing the central bank with private and public partnership, because central bank control on over all economic policy.
