Education in India-or the lack of it.

Hello Friends,

Today’s education system in India has developed a lot and according to me India’s education system is top most among all over the world. But in spite of this there are many people who are illiterate because of poverty many parents want to send their children but they are not able to because of such high school's fees so govt of India should introduce a rule such that they provide proper education to the children who are below poverty line. Even Big voluntary organizations can come forward and can help them making each and every child to be educated and developing our country...

Hello,

Education is an important aspect, which can decide the country's future. If the literacy in the country increases, obviously the Economy gets improved. It's better to know that the Govt. is coming up with midday meal schemes, but this alone is not sufficient to overcome the poverty or help the poor children. I suggest that the Govt. has to request the corporate companies and Private schools to help the poor children. And it's the responsibility of each and every individual to look after the poor children for a better future of that country. One can also help the poor children by sharing the knowledge like teaching a subject once in a week or twice in a week in Govt schools.

This can help in building a bright future for that country.

Hello every body,

Yes education in India has developed a lot. In olden days   only few people in a family were educated and girls were not allowed to go to schools. But now the TREND is something different, there is no difference between a girl and a boy at any aspect. But still our India in not 100% literate. This is mainly due to the poverty existing in India.

Coming to the education system in India it is memory based education but not activity based. As a result there are very less people with good skills and leadership qualities. I think schools in India both public and private must give some importance to activity-based education also.

Instead of leaving the responsibilities to government in order to educate the poor children the private voluntary bodies has to come up, and the role of youth is very important here. As raghu said one can help the poor by sharing the knowledge with them.

Hello

Education in India has improved a lot considering past before independence. Considering past views Female education is not supported. Now the trend has been changed a lot. Gals are equal to guys in all fields. Many GUD education Institutes have been come up encouraging Indians to enrich their knowledge as well as maturity towards things.

We also have got good research centers as well as development centers where Continuous research is been done with latest equipment considering other countries like USA, CHINA, etc.

Today most of study pattern is been implemented ONLINE making student know in depth of the topics.

Equally children are becoming fast in grasping things. And. Most important thing of all.a VALUE ADDED SYSTEM is created.

But India shud also makes this kind of progress continuously in all the sectors.including education system, their enhancements for making students still more flexible

Hello Everybody.

In my point of view Education in India is totally Depend on Money .for example when I joined in engineering my fee is 14,000 only (2002) on the next year there was a huge hike in 2003 it came around 30,000. Money lacks many people to join in Engineering. Apart from that some of the institution are Getting Extra amount from the Student.

This thing should not happen any more then only Education in India would be good.

There is also a good improvement in Developing New Technology in Indian Education like Video Conference, Online Education etc. This should also Reach village people also then only India Will be Bright then others.

Hi all

As we are all saying penury plays a major role on educational system but what I think is not only penury but also the attitude of the people should also change.

Our educational system is very much complicated b's even if u r not able to understand u can go to school get things learned and u can pass but that is not the case in foreign countries they bring up a child right from the scrap in its own way.i.e if a child has interest in doing a particular thing they allow the child to do that itself this builds research mentality right from the child hood itself.

They don't have home work they never get scolding from teachers /parents for not studying or for not doing homework hence they enjoy going school b's they are allowed to do things in which they are interested in.

U knows many children refuses to go to school bs of heavy burden of homework and b's of the fear of teachers.

Schools should give importance to practical education unless a stabilized educational system can't be established.

Students creativity should be encouraged and it shud b given priority to have a healthy education.

Well in my view education institutions can accept reasonable amount. Bcoz without that they cannot maintain good facilities like efficient faculty, labs, libraries, and many things to list.

But when it comes to poor students they can pursue the free education Max up to SSC (Xth). And there are also government colleges, which provide free education. But these government colleges lack good facitilies. As we know higher education is turning point for them. So I feel more private charitable trusts and voluntary bodies should come up with good institutions with good facilities.

Suggest ideas as to how to tap funds from corporates. Friends I expect more ideas from u.

Of course some of our government schools are trying to attract children from slum areas by adopting play way method of teaching. But still there are many people who resist sending their children to schools.

So I think first we need to change the mindset of parents. They must be told the importance of education and how it helps their children to stand in this competitive world. I think One of the ways to attract them is the government should provide money for basic needs to all the families if they send their children to schools.

Obviously, education in India has been gradually increasing from one generation to next. Government is providing support for the education for children under poverty by introducing various schemes like midday meals. It is in the hand of we people to make general awareness towards education among parents especially in the villages, as we cannot blame every thing 4 government to do .So that they can recognize the importance of education and make their children also to realize the importance. This helps us to improve the economy of our country and build a strong nation

But as we lookout the current education system it is not quite fair. B’cos as keerthi said our education system is memory based and it does not help to improve the creativity of the student in any way. Our students were theoretically strong and practically weak when compared to other countries like Japan, U.S.A, China .So practical importance should be given to improve the student’s logical & analytical ability
